Who is autarc?
autarc was founded in Berlin in 2023 by Etienne-Noel Krause and Thies Hansen. The company is developing a software platform for trades businesses that design and install heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. The team consists of over 40 employees with experience in the HVAC industry, energy consulting, and software development. autarc was one of the few German startups accepted into Y Combinator and has secured funding in the single-digit millions from investors such as PT1 PropTech1 Ventures, better ventures, and Kai Hansen (founder of Lieferando).
