Automatic ‍ radiator detection

Revolution in heating planning: Autarc launches automatic Radiator detection

Berlin, 12.03.2025 — autarc GmbH is setting new standards in heating planning: With innovative radiator recognition via LiDAR scan, time-consuming manual measurement of radiators is no longer necessary. This technology enables the automatic recording of radiator dimensions and integrates them directly into heat load calculation and hydraulic balance. autarc is the first company to bring this technology to market and is thus setting a new industry standard.

Game changers for craftsmen and energy consultants

Until now, heating installers and energy consultants had to extensively measure and document radiators by hand. The new autarc feature makes this work step superfluous. A simple scan is enough to automatically record the length, width and depth of the radiator — even if it is partially covered. Incorporates the captured data flow directly into the calculation, which increases accuracy.

Automatic recognition thanks to LiDAR technology.

Radiator detection is based on advanced LiDAR technology, which enables precise 3D scans. Craftsmen simply need to open the app, point the camera at the radiator and wait a short time — recognition takes place within a few seconds. This allows heating projects to be carried out faster and more efficiently.

Market launch at ISH Frankfurt 2025

autarc is presenting the new radiator recognition for the first time at ISH Frankfurt on 17.03.2025. As the leading trade fair for water, heating and climate, ISH offers the ideal platform for presenting this innovation in the industry. All Premium and Enterprise customers receive the feature free of charge for six months from launch. If you are unable to attend ISH, you can simply activate the add-on yourself. To do this, go to the Settings → Subscriptions → Add-ons and activate radiator detection with just a few clicks.

Maximum time savings and planning precision

Thanks to the new function, specialists save valuable time and avoid measurement errors. This not only simplifies everyday work, but also increases efficiency when modernizing heating systems. “With this innovation, we are creating a solution that offers craftsmen and energy consultants real added value. Radiator recognition makes planning faster, more accurate and more intuitive,” explains Etienne Krause, founder and managing director of autarc. Just scan, plan faster — try now. The new radiator detection will be available from 17.03.2025. Interested professionals can test the technology directly and benefit from the benefits. Premium and Enterprise customers can use the feature free of charge for six months. More information is available at www.autarc.energy/products/radiator detection retrievable.
